Lichtgitter CZ spol. s r. o., the largest Czech manufacturer of floor gratings, is located in Horní Suchá in the north-east of the Czech Republic. The company was founded in 1994 as a joint venture of two traditional grating manufacturers, Kovony Karviná a.s. and Lichtgitter GmbH, as Kovona-Lichtgitter spol. s r.o. Today, Lichtgitter CZ is a 100% subsidiary of the German company Lichtgitter GmbH, headquartered in Stadtlohn.
The Lichtgitter product range includes walkable and drive-over gratings, welded, press-locked and composite gratings, sheet metal profiles, stair treads, spiral staircases and ladder rungs. Depending on the application, individual types can be produced in various material variants (steel, stainless steel, aluminium) with different surface finishes.
Lichtgitter gratings are versatile and have wide application in various industrial sectors. They are used in the chemical industry, power plants and heating plants, the automotive industry, the food industry, shipbuilding, parking buildings (garages), drilling platforms, etc.
Lichtgitter gratings are manufactured using the most modern technology. They can be produced in various dimensions and with various cut-outs (round, angled, oval cuts, etc.). Our CAD/CAM system guarantees the highest manufacturing accuracy. Our production is carried out according to national and international standards and regulations such as ČSN, TZÚS, ISO, DIN and RAL.
We offer customers a complete service – from technical consulting and calculating the correct grating type based on load data, through preparation of drawing documentation and, if necessary, laying plans, all the way to organizing transport to the construction site.
Lichtgitter gratings are exported throughout Europe, Asia, Africa and South America. As Lichtgitter CZ, we reach customers in more than 22 countries, such as China, Indonesia, Turkey, Finland, England, Germany, Austria, Poland, etc.
With the help of sister companies in Slovakia, Bulgaria and Romania, our company is building its position mainly in the Eastern European market.
