Plastic gratings
Part of the product range of Lichtgitter CZ, which consists of resistance-welded gratings, press-locked gratings, sheet metal profiles and spiral staircases, also includes GFRP composite gratings manufactured on the basis of glass fibers. By expanding its range with this product, Lichtgitter CZ strengthens its leading position among manufacturers of flooring gratings.
Components of plastic grating
The base of the glass fiber reinforced composite grating consists of resin, reinforcement, additives and pigments.
Construction of moulded GFRP grating
For moulded GFRP gratings, the components are cast in layers into a prepared mould that determines the mesh size, thickness and height of the bars. Glass fibers are inserted between the individual layers. The entire mould with the cast compound and glass fibers is heated, causing the grating to cure. After cooling, the GFRP grating panel is removed from the mould and finished to the required dimensions.
- Moulded GFRP gratings: GFK-K, GFK-G, GFK-S
- Moulded sanded GFRP gratings: GFK-BK, GFK-BQ, GFK-BKO
