Fixing material
Fixing material P and SP
- Gratings must be secured against rising or sliding off the bearing structure. Each grating should be fixed at least in four points, preferably in the corners.
- Fastening material is supplied by Lichtgitter CZ for all types of gratings and for all commonly supplied and designed types of bearing structure sections.
- Depending on the application conditions, all fastening members must be inspected periodically or, if necessary, screwed joints must be tightened.
- Unless otherwise stated, all types of fastening members including bolts and nuts are hot-dip galvanized.
B 133T – Standard fixing material
Comprised of a robust lower part, bolt, nut, and disc (clamp). It is designed in such a way that at the mesh pitch of 33 x 33 mm it can be mounted from above, through the grating meshes.
B 334K – Safety fixing material with locking
This fastening material prevents a slippage of the grating from the substructure even when the bolt is loosened.
It is designed for forge-welded gratings with the maximum height of 50 mm and the pitch of:
34 x 38 mm - fixing B 334K
34 x 50 mm - fixing B 351K
34 x 24 mm - fixing B 33424K
Mounting from above through the grating mesh is possible only by pitch 34 x 38 mm and 34 x 50 mm.
B433-TM – Threaded bolt fixing
Enables to fix the grating very quickly. It is comprised of a cold galvanized or stainless steel nailing pin with M8 thread and a special disc with inside thread. It can be used for the pitches of bearing bars from 25 to 40 mm. Mounting is carried out using special tools.
Disc types:
- B433-TM – duplex, suitable for outdoors
- B433-T – galvanized, for indoors
- B433-TR – stainless steel type, for corrosive environments

(installation instructions)
B 533 K – Welded bolt fixing
Comprised of a special bolt which is butt welded to the bearing structure, a nut and upper clamp. This fastening guarantees high safety against sliding off and fall of the grating.
B 633K – Safety fixing material with locking
It is designed for pressure-locked gratings with the mesh pitch of 33 x 33 mm and the maximum height of 50 mm. This member prevents the grating from sliding off the supporting structure even if the screwed joint loosens. Mounting is possible from above, through the grating meshes.
B 733T – Hook bolt fixing
It is designed for fastening the grating on a bearing section without a lower flange. For complete specification, the size and type of the bearing section must be provided. This member also fixes and locks the grating position.
B 833T – Hook bolt fixing
It is designed for fastening the grating on a bearing section with a lower flange. For complete specification,
the size and type of the bearing section must be provided. This member also fixes and locks the grating position.
B 933T – Double clamp
Enables connecting two adjacent gratings in places there are large deflections and it prevents the so-called trip edge from forming. It is applied mainly in places with large shape cut-outs in gratings.
B10 – Fixing material for gratings with the pitch of spacing bars of 11.11 mm
Comprised of the lower part of the fastening member, a saucer-headed bolt, and a nut. The minimum grating length is the grating height + 40 mm.
B 270 – Fixing using anchor plate
Comprised of an anchor plate with a hole, welded into the grating. Bolts are not included in delivery.
Suitable particularly for running gratings.
